WWWC & OTS's policies are to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all of our attendees, guests, staff, volunteers, and exhibitors. WWWC and OTS reserves the right to revoke the membership badge of anyone found in violation of these policies. Any violation which involves activities prohibited by law will result in a report to local law enforcement.
Membership fees are non-refundable Badges must be worn and visible at all times. Badges are required to access certain convention spaces. Acceptance of a WWWC membership badge and admission to the convention constitutes an agreement to allow WWWC and OTS to use your image or likeness for promotion within any media format. It is unlawful to duplicate a WWWC membership badge. Each badge admits one person to the WWWC. Badges are non-transferable and are not replaceable.
Re-entry into OTS is allowed with a WWWC supplied wrist band. No re-entry into OTS after 5:00 PM.
Service and assistance animals are permitted in all public areas and at all times. No other animals will be permitted into OTS.
As a licensed liquor establishment Old Tucson Studios is governed by Arizona law which prohibits the possession of live loaded firearms within Old Tucson Studios by any person other than a law enforcement official. Possession of a loaded firearm is therefore prohibited, including concealed and non-concealed firearms and weapons.
All children age 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
WWWC is not liable for personnel belongings. Lost and found is located at the OTS's front gate or at HTCC's front desk.
Distribution of printed materials not approved by WWWC is strictly prohibited. This policy however does not apply to our vendors or entertainers.
Disruptive or unsafe behavior that disturbs attendees, staff, guests, entertainers or exhibitors. Physical or verbal harassment of attendees, staff, guests, entertainers or exhibitors. Destruction or defacement of OTS or HTCC property. Sexual misconduct such as indecent exposure, lascivious behavior, offensive touching or sexual harassment. Any activity prohibited by law.
Respect the hotel and take care not disturb non-convention hotel guest. Convention attendees who are found disturbing other hotel guests on hotel property are subject to disciplinary action, including revocation of membership badge.
NFPA & local fire code will be strictly enforced. If you are asked to comply with fire code by WWWC, OTS, or HTCC staff and fail to do so your badge will be confiscated.
Amplified music is prohibited in convention space.
When taking pictures be conscious of traffic around you and do not block walkways or points egress. Please be considerate and ask before taking pictures of other attendees, staff, guests, entertainers or exhibitors.
WWWC is a family-friendly event. Please exercise modesty when wearing your costume. If WWWC staff feels your costume is too revealing or offensive to other attendees, you may be asked to change. No masks which impair your vision. Shoes are required to be worn while at OTS & HTCC. If your costume has pieces that extend from it (wings, spikes, armor, etc.) or you are carrying a large prop, please be aware of your surroundings and of people around you. You may be asked to change your costume or remove your prop from convention space if it is found to be disruptive or dangerous.
Prop and homemade weapons are permitted if they are not dangerous. WWWC or OTS security staff will determine on a case-by-case basis whether a prop or homemade weapon is dangerous. Security staff decisions are final. Attendees are required to have all such weapons peace tied by WWWC or OTS security before entering convention facilities. There will be a peace tie station located near registration at the main entrance.
A weapon that looks genuine from 20 feet away. That could cause physical harm or damage to property. All weapons deemed unsafe by WWWC or OTS security must be removed and stored in your vehicle or hotel room.
Misuse of any prop weapon, such as swinging it in a public space or causing a hazard to others will result in the weapon or prop being deemed unsafe for the convention.
Steel weapons are not permitted unless the item can be secured in its sheath by WWWC or OTS security, and it is not removed from its sheath during the convention. Bullwhips and other stock whips are not permitted unless they are rolled up and secured by WWWC or OTS security and remain that way during the convention. Guns and projectile weapons are prohibited at WWWC and OTS. Replicas of live guns are permitted if they are easily identifiable as props and peace tied. Nunchucks and other flail weapons are prohibited. Incendiary devices are prohibited
All prop weapons purchased or won as prizes at the convention must be peace tied by WWWC or OTS security if they are going to be carried during the convention
Any airship morred in a restricted zone will be towed at the owners expense. Unclaimed airships will be auctioned after 90 days. Owners are liable for all airship impound and storage fees. To reclaim your airship telgraph ..-.. --...-.-- (Morty's Airship Towing). Please allow 90 days for a response.
